When to buy and sell a stock?

After select a good stock from fundamental analysis, Technical Analysis is used to know the buy and sell timing. It use the statistic from past to calculate the next value to predict the future.

First of all, you need to get a chart software, see here number 2 if you don't have one.

Trend Line
Trend line shows you the uptrend (bullish/long) and down trend (bearish/short). This the very basic TA, you should able to tell with naked eyes the chart is a uptrend even I didn't drawn it in the chart.

Resistance
If the price breaks above the resistance level (in yellow colour) at about RM0.92, it is a bullish sign to the trend.

Support
If the price breaks below the supports level (in green colour) at about RM0.60, it is a bearish sign to the trend. Normally, the price will fluctuated in between  resistance and support level. So you can buy can sell when the price hit the level.

RSI (Relative Strength Index)
Click indicator in your chart and tick RSI. It used to spot overbought and oversold condition. When the purple line reading is below 30% line, it is identified oversold, while indicator reading above 70% level is overbought. You can buy more when oversold, yo can sell more when overbought. CCI(Commodity Channel Index), momentum, William %R and stochastic are the others indicator just almost same like RSI

MACD
The red line cross blue line from bottom means a golden cross, it is a buy signal. The blue line cross red line from top means death cross, it a sell signal. It is not that accurate for weak trend.

Conclusion, there are so much indicators in TA, I know more than hundred of them and it can be created by anyone. Mostly they are similar and confuse you with false signal. You may create your own indicator according to your strategies. I cannot write them all in here, but I have shows you the famous and significant one, you can further read my others post for different use of others indicator.
